On the Street……Spring Knocking, Paris
I love the color combination she has going on here. I wanted to play with texture and decided to break out my chalk pastel pencils. It’s been a while. (taralikespink)

On the Street……Just Off Vittorio St., Soa Paula
I started off drawing her on a smaller scale, and I wasn’t liking how it was turning out. That’s when I started fooling around and drawing her on a bigger scale, and this is what happened. (taralikespink)

On the Street……Chinatown, NYC.
I knew a month ago when I saw this that I wanted to change the top of her jacket into a bear, but I never thought it would take me into the realm of fantasy with fire and ice.  In the end, I really wanted to portray her as a soul trapped within the bear, whose rage was consuming her beauty, commanding her to destroy the ones she loved.

On the Street …. Red & Blue, NYC
I like to practice drawing croquis, and I thought the expression on this woman’s face was adorable. I was really excited to see that she had a feather on her hat!

WHAT IS THIS BLOG ABOUT?

If you follow my blog, KevinNuut.com, you’ll know that I’m a sucker for a few things, shoes, design, odd artwork, pandas, remixes, and fashion. And honestly, who is better at photographing fashion in the moment than TheSartorialist.com?

Furthermore, the constant fear of creating shitty artwork keeps me from drawing most nights, and I need a conscious excuse to keep me practicing. Instead of just drawing naked people or apples, I’m far more interested in how people wear fabric and understanding color palettes.

So with one stone in hand, and two birds on the horizon, I start this blog.

FOR ANYONE FOLLOWING

This is a secondary Tumblog, which means if you are following it, it can never return the favor. Do not feel sad, TheSartorialArtist.com still appreciates your interest. If you see a young lad from Austin, TX following you, with the surname of KevinNuut.com, just know that the reasons are just and ... uhm ... reasonable?
